The leaves have started to turn up in the mountains and the cold and damp weather is setting in. While this may not be the case in all areas of the country, it is coming very soon! During this transitional time year when you find yourself (or at least I do!) scratching you head in the morning trying to gauge what to wear and wondering if it will it be warm or cold that day you should think about layering a new Fall sweater over an old Summer dress! This layering technique can be great to give your Summer dresses longevity, get you excited and looking fresh in your new Fall sweaters and insures your ready for the mild sunny or overcast weather. Add in a belt and your look is complete!

Does this dress look familiar? I wore it here, as well as a Bridesmaid in a friends wedding and all throughout the Summer!

Free People Dylan Tweedy Pullover Sweater // Dolce Vita Dress on sale from this Summer // Rag & Bone Durham Booties // vintage belt

Free People has some fun ring sets for $14 to fit all different fingers like this one, or this one or this one. I have been wanting to try the knuckle rings for months now, but didn’t want to invest in a trend I wasn’t sure I was going to like. I found these sets and loved them to test the waters for now.
